AG Day to take place Oct. 20 prior to Aggie football game

AG Day is less than a month away. The New Mexico Department of Agriculture and New Mexico State University’s College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences are hosting the sixth annual AG Day event before the NMSU vs. Georgia Southern football game. The event will be from 12 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20 at the Pan American Center south parking lot adjacent to Aggie Memorial Stadium. All Aggie fans are encouraged to participate in the free family event before kickoff.

Come celebrate the long-standing tradition of New Mexico agriculture and learn more about one of the most important industries in our state. Aggie fans can expect more than 50 booths representing numerous NMSU groups, as well as businesses and organizations.

Along with farm animals, games, prizes, educational exhibits and samples of New Mexico-made food, AG Day attendees can expect live music provided by local musician Chris Baker from 1 to 3 p.m.
